Pursuant to a decision of the Yerevan City Council, residents have been exempted from fines and penalties for not paying waste disposal fees from January 1 to May, until July 31
Yerevan residents can now pay waste disposal fees through a newly launched billing system, which includes several platforms and payment service providers.
Waste management bills are already available online, and payments can be made through the following platforms: yerevan.am, pay.e-community.am, HayPost, EasyPay, and branches of ARMECONOMBANK.
As the previous system did not support online payments for waste disposal, the Yerevan City Council decided to waive fines incurred between January and May, until July 31.
All fines and penalties accrued up to July 31 will be waived; instead, the corresponding amounts will be added to residents' regular waste disposal bills.
The next session of the Yerevan Council of Elders will be held on June 24.
