Yerevan Council of Elders Summarizes the Work of the 4th Session
The Yerevan Council of Elders will establish an investigative commission to examine the alienation of kindergarten and school territories that previously belonged to the community, covering the period from September 21, 1991, to 2025. The draft decision was approved at today’s meeting of the Council.
The commission will carry out a comprehensive investigation to compile verified data, assess the legitimacy of these processes, and provide information to the public.

The City Council has approved the Yerevan Action Plan for 2025–2028 as part of the “Local Open Government Partnership” initiative. This initiative aims to bring together government bodies and civil society representatives to collaborate in order to develop an inclusive agenda for government policy. The project is expected to enhance transparency, accountability, innovation, and citizen participation in governance. The initiative includes members from over 70 countries and more than 100 local authorities worldwide.
