The community is going to get new machinery for the “Waste Removal and Sanitary Cleaning of Yerevan” municipal company. The process of purchasing new engines for the vehicles is also going on as because some vehicles are out of order because of broken engines.

The administrative districts of Yerevan will be delegated new functions: filling of holes in asphalt cover, improvement of courtyards, construction of wheelchair access. The activities will be organized on the basis of the standards presented by the Department of Building and Improvement.

To arrange the green zones care and sanitary cleaning of courtyards in the administrative districts all necessary machinery will be provided.

The process of removing old broken cars parked in undetermined spots has been initiated in Kentron and Arabkir administrative districts. It has been instructed to carry out that work in other administrative districts as well.

Overground communication lines are going to be replaced underground in 28 streets of Yerevan. Approximately 80 km of trenches are to be dug. This year the process is planned in Vardanants, Khorenatsi, Myasnikyan, Acharyan, Tumanyan, Tigran Mets, Melik Adamyan, Argishti and Republic streets and avenues.

To avoid accumulations of bulky garbage special trash interceptors will be installed on the Hrazdan river. The process of installation has started.

A water cleaning station will be constructed on the Getar river. Preparations for the process have already begun.
