Yerevan to Establish Three New Playgrounds Meeting International Standards
The Kentron Administrative District of Yerevan and the “Keron” Development Foundation have signed a memorandum outlining a new playground construction project.
This initiative is one of the five strategic directions of the Keron Development Foundation’s efforts focused on territorial development. It is carried out in cooperation with the Kentron Administrative District.
As part of the project, Yerevan will have its first playgrounds built in full compliance with international standards. These playgrounds, gifted to the capital, its residents, and especially its children, are created exclusively for public use.
The playgrounds will be located in the 6th section of the Circular Park (approximately 2,000 square meters), Khachkar Park (about 800 square meters), and the park named after Missak Manouchian (about 675 square meters).
All children, regardless of physical or developmental challenges, will be able to enjoy the playgrounds. The environment will be completely safe, and the play features will encourage the integration and development of all children. Construction will not involve cutting down any trees, and the playgrounds will be carefully designed to fit within the natural landscape, protecting the integrity and ecosystem of the green areas.
