Within the frames of “Yerevan days in Saint Petersburg” program held from 6 to 8 of August the photo exhibition “Yerevan. City and people” has opened at Pater and Paul fortress of the RF northern capital.
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and Saint Petersburg Governor Georgi Poltavchenko were present at the ceremony of opening the exhibition consisted 86 photos. Yerevan Mayor and Saint Petersburg Governor walked about the exhibition and familiarized themselves with the exhibited photos. The persons in charge noted that photos from the collection of Yerevan History Museum and historical and archaeological reserve-museum “Erebuni” represent the old and new streets, quarters, public buildings, monuments, citywide and festive events of Yerevan and the people who played an important role in political, economical and cultural life of the city.
The exhibition “Yerevan. City and people” opened at Peter and Paul fortress is open from 6 to 20 of September.
