To enhance children’s safety in Yerevan’s community preschool institutions, the Yerevan Municipality has launched a project, within the framework of which approximately 1,700 video surveillance cameras have already been installed in 42 kindergartens. Monitoring is carried out not only by the Department of General Education of the Yerevan Municipality, but also by kindergarten directors.
The program is ongoing. In the coming year, an additional 40 kindergartens are planned to be equipped with video surveillance systems.
