The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of External Design and Advertising Araz Baghdasaryan and the head of ‘Skyball” company Nairi Barseghyan presented the details of the international balloon festival to be held in Yerevan for the first time on October 14-17 within the frames of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” celebration. The balloon festival “Discover Armenia from the sky” held with the assistance of partner organizations has bee organized by Yerevan Municipality and “Skyball” company.
Greeting the guests the head of the Department of External Design and Advertising Araz Baghdasaryan noted that this novelty will become a real present for townspeople and guests of the capital. the participants arrived in Yerevan from Russia, Bulgaria, Belarus and Lithuania will be exploring the sky of the capital on 14 balloons and will land outside the administrative borders of Yerevan.
The head of “Skyball” company Nairi Barseghyan in his turn informed that some tasks had been set for the teams. So, the privilege will be given to the crew whose balloon will stay in the sky longer.
The opening of the festival will be held on October 14, at 15:30 in Republic square.
The following schedule of the events is provided:

October 14

15:30 –official opening of the fest in Republic square.
16:40 –preparation of balloons for the flight.
17:00- the flight, duration is 1.5 hour.

October 15

07:00- Republic square or Azatutyan square (depending on the weather); simultaneous flight of balloons.
17:00- Republic square, flights and concert program.
19:00-show of balloons.

October 16 and 17

Flights over the areas of Garni and Aparan reservoirs.
