Setting and testing of the lifts provided for people with special needs are being processed
In 2014, within the frames of the programs of the Municipality of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to purchase and equip 10 buses with lifts for people with special needs. The special lifts ordered at the end of the previous year have already been delivered to Yerevan ad are being set in the new buses produced by “Higer” company. According to the persons in charge the process will be completed within a few days. Before it the technical ability and the convenience of the lifts will have been checked with the participation of the beneficiaries. It should be noted that the routes for the equipped buses will be worked out so as the people with disabilities in all administrative districts could have the opportunity to get to the center of the city.
