"Your dedication could not have resulted in anything but victory" – Tigran Avinyan
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan hosted the athletes who took the first, second, and third places in the 2026 European Championships and World Cup competitions, as well as the national team coaches.
Congratulating them on their outstanding achievements in these prestigious international competitions, Mayor Avinyan wished them continued success.
"Your accomplishments and achievements in sports were expected, because your profound dedication to Armenian sports could not have brought about anything but victory. I hope that your resilience and enthusiasm never fade and contribute to securing new championship titles.
The Yerevan Municipality is committed to supporting our athletes, ensuring that the path to success in sports is as smooth and seamless as possible. I want to express my gratitude to each of you and congratulate you once again. I am looking forward to meeting you again. I hope that your victories will multiply, and we will have many more opportunities to be proud of you," stated the Mayor.
The medalists of the European Championships and World Cup competitions, along with their coaches, were awarded cash prizes.
