Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan and the RA Minister of Science and Education met with the principals of the schools subordinated to Yerevan Municipality. The issue of the meeting is the problem of keeping the principals and teachers within legality during the upcoming parliamentary elections. In this regard Yerevan Mayor stressed that during the woking hours the employees of the sphere must be involved only in educational processes.

“Nobody can be engaged in any political issues and propaganda during working time. In case of such situations we must be informed at once. I don’t want any of you to fall into unpleasant situations”, said the Mayor.
The Mayor offered the principals to convey to all employees of educational establishments that any form of pre-election propaganda must be excluded during their meetings with parents as well. The RA Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan in his turn stressed that a successful example was fixed during the elections for Yerevan Council of Elders. He expressed confidence that the same appropriate atmosphere will be ensured during the coming parliamentary elections.
