First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Armen Pambukhchyan, who is currently on a working visit to the Latvian capital, met with the Mayor of Riga, Viesturs Kleinbergs. During the meeting, the sides discussed the existing relationship between the two cities and identified potential areas to expand bilateral cooperation.

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan met with Silvana Leska Barolin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay to the Republic of Armenia. Congratulating the Ambassador on the commencement of her diplomatic mission in Armenia, Mayor Avinyan wished her success in fulfilling her responsibilities.

Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Levon Hovhannisyan, participated in the 10th Armenia–Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum held in Yerevan. In his statement, the Deputy Mayor highlighted one of the most pivotal infrastructure projects in Yerevan — the construction of the new “Ajapnyak” metro station.

Armen Pambukhchyan, the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, who is currently in the Georgian capital to participate in the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, held a meeting with his Tbilisi counterpart, Giorgi Tkemaladze. During the meeting, the sides discussed ongoing projects, reforms, and prospects for further cooperation between the two cities.

Eighteen years ago, Yerevan and Nice were officially recognized as sister cities through a formal agreement. However, for more than a decade, the partnership lacked substantive engagement. This changed in 2023, when a delegation led by the First Deputy Mayor of Nice visited Armenia. The visit culminated in the signing of a framework agreement on international collaboration in the healthcare sector with the Yerevan Municipality.

More than 30-year-long partnership between Yerevan and Marseille is poised to enter a new phase. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan hosted the Mayor of Marseille, Benoît Payan. During the meeting, both mayors emphasized that addressing similar challenges is included in the agenda of bilateral cooperation, noting that the two cities share common issues and a common approach to solving them.

Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, who is currently in Lyon, met with his counterpart, Mayor Grégory Doucet. Welcoming the members of the Yerevan delegation, the Mayor of Lyon stated that this visit will create new opportunities to implement joint projects.

During the official visit to Armenia from March 31 to April 1, the delegation led by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier also included the Mayor of Leipzig Burkhard Jung. During the visit, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and Leipzig Mayor Burkhard Jung signed the agreement "On Holding  a Year of Cultural Events between Yerevan and Leipzig."

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who is in the United States with an official visit, met with his colleague, Los Angeles Mayor Ms. Karen Bass. The mayors highlighted the use of information technologies in various areas of urban economy on the agenda of bilateral cooperation.

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Armenia H.E. Mr. Ricardo Martinez Vazquez.

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who was in the capital of Italy with an official visit, met with his Roman colleague Roberto Gualtieri. Emphasizing the strong economic and cultural ties between the two countries, the parties expressed confidence that the cooperation established between the two capitals also has great prospects for development and expansion.
