The first stage of the Yerevan energy efficiency program, which started in 2021, envisaged major repairs, reconstruction and seismic modernization, implementation of horizontal measures of 50 kindergartens. Kindergartens-nurseries No. 36 in Ajapnyak administrative district and No. 81 in Malatia-Sebastia administrative district were renovated within the framework of this program. New, more comfortable and safe conditions were provided for children.

New preschool institutions will be established in municipal basic schools No. 80, 88, 98, 99, 110, 123, 146, 151 and 167. The project is being implemented by Yerevan Municipality on the initiative of the government. Construction work is currently underway. The preschool institutions will open their doors in September.
