In near future there will be no queues in front of medical rooms in the policlinics of Yerevan. The system of e-appointment is to be installed in the policlinics of Yerevan. Yerevan Municipality is carrying out this project in teamwork with the national operator of electronic healthcare “Armed”.

“The problem of long queues has existed in the municipal policlinics for years and citizens’ complaints have become common. The system of e-registration is another step towards making the services of policlinics more available for citizens”, said Deputy Mayor Sergey Harutyunyan.
This e-system has already been installed in 13 policlinics of Yerevan. The program makes it possible for citizens to phone to the policlinic and get and appointment with a therapist for the time convenient. Making an appointment in advance is possible on working days from 09:00 till 17:00. For this purpose special phone numbers work in policlinics.
By the end of the year the program will be available in all 24 policlinics of the capital.
“The program makes it possible to make an appointment for a therapist or a podiatrist. Within the frames of the second phase the e-system will become possible for the appointments with narrow specialists”, stated the head of the Department of Health of the Municipality of Yerevan Kamsar Babinyan.
The registration will become an obligatory requirement in policlinics. Currently the Municipality of Yerevan is working out new programs of reforms in the system of healthcare.
“By 2020 we plan to increase three times the budget for medical sphere and to purchase up-to-date medical equipment which will make it possible for the municipal policlinics to provide high-quality medical services’, noted Sergey Harutyunyan.
