The Yerevan "Emergency Medical Service" company is set to acquire seven new modern vehicles at its own expense. Effective management has enabled the company to operate profitably, allowing for equipment updates to be funded internally and the satisfaction of necessary needs. At a recent working meeting, Mayor Tigran Avinyan addressed the issue of attacks on doctors. “These cases are truly concerning. Violence against doctors is one of the most perplexing phenomena in our society, and frankly, it reflects poorly on us as a community. We need to discuss these incidents more frequently, and each case should be met with appropriate condemnation reaction, both from society and law enforcement, because doctors are performing a critical service. Their primary goal is to save lives and maintain people's health,” emphasized the Mayor.

As part of the street lighting modernization program for 28 streets in Yerevan, the process of transferring overhead cables underground will continue this year. This will be carried out on Abovyan, Argishti, Melik Adamyan, Nalbandyan, Demirchyan streets, and Tigran Mets avenue. “We must also implement a comprehensive program to improve sidewalks on these streets to achieve a complete, polished look. Such method of combining our programs is very effective as it gives the streets a new look and transforms the overall environment,” noted Tigran Avinyan.

From 2019 to 2024, Yerevan Municipality legalized 945 unauthorized constructions on public land plots and 3,313 constructions on private plots, resulting in 9.1 billion drams being paid into the city budget. It has been reported that there was a decrease in the number of legalization decisions in 2024, mainly due to the approval of the new General Plan for Yerevan, as the document sets strict requirements and makes it impossible to legalize constructions spontaneously built on public plots. Regarding houses that lack ownership certificates or are unauthorized constructions on their own land plots, Mayor Avinyan noted that all such applications are signed without obstacles. As for the problem of residential areas and houses built several decades ago, it was instructed to address the issue by considering neighborhood logic and meeting with residents.
