Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan presented the city’s major urban development investment projects to the heads of Armenia’s banks. Emphasizing the importance of fostering strong public–private partnerships, the Mayor noted that the banking system is not only a driving force of the economy but also a partner with a distinct social responsibility.
The discussions encompassed various projects, ranging from the renovation of districts and the construction of residential complexes to comprehensive urban development initiatives. The Mayor emphasized that effective cooperation enables the municipality to align its priorities with the capacity of the private sector, paving the way for the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Development companies for these initiatives will be selected through tenders to be announced in the near future. Detailed information on the projects is available on the investment platform within the Geographic Information System (GIS).
Tigran Avinyan extended his gratitude to the banks that have already become reliable partners of Yerevan, expressing confidence that their active engagement will contribute significantly to the successful implementation of these initiatives. He also expressed hope that the circle of partner banks will continue to expand.
