Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received the delegation headed by Don Lambert, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director in Armenia.
The parties highly appreciated the cooperation between ADB and the Yerevan community, emphasizing its saturated agenda.
Within the framework of the "Yerevan Urban Development Investment Program" loan agreement, the construction of a new Isakov-Arshakunyats road junction, a 269m-long reinforced concrete beam bridge over the Hrazdan River and a road junction with a tunnel crossing and a roundabout on Arshakunyats Avenue are planned. The project involves greening and well-arrangement of the area adjacent to Komitas Park.
Emphasizing joint programs, Mayor Avinyan noted that the effective partnership established with ADB is another step towards having a comfortable city.
Don Lambert stressed that Yerevan Municipality is a reliable partner for the bank and noted that they are ready to participate in various projects to make Yerevan more suitable for living.
