Programs Discussed During This Week’s Working Meeting
Large-scale renovation and refurbishment works have been carried out at the “Surb Astvatsamayr” Medical Center since 2023. In total, approximately 3,900 square meters have been renovated. This project has significantly improved the quality of healthcare services and created a safe, comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

A new shelter for stray dogs will be constructed at 12, 4th Lane, Artsakh Avenue, in the Shengavit administrative district. A tender has been announced in Yerevan for the construction of the country’s first state-run shelter for stray dogs. The project design adheres to internationally accepted best practices in animal welfare.

A new six-group kindergarten is to be built in the Avan administrative district. Construction is scheduled for 2026 and will be funded by the Yerevan Municipality. The three-story building will be fully equipped with modern ventilation and heating systems. Solar photovoltaic panels and solar water-heating systems will be installed on the roof. The building will also be equipped with fire alarm and automatic fire suppression systems. The surrounding area will feature an irrigation system, a new access road, lawns, sidewalks, and children’s playgrounds.

Construction of the new Albert Azaryan Gymnastics School is moving ahead on schedule. Designed to meet international standards, the sports complex will serve as a contemporary training center for approximately 300 young athletes. It will also host international tournaments, further boosting Armenia’s standing and reputation in gymnastics and sports.
In 2027, the complex will host the European Gymnastics Championships, marking the first time the event will take place in Armenia.

Partial-depth pavement repair works have been completed in Yerevan. As part of the project, works were carried out on Vagharshyan, Hrachya Kochar, and Gyulbenkyan streets in the Arabkir administrative district; on Gai Avenue in the Nor Nork administrative district; along the sides of the Gai Avenue–Myasnikyan Avenue transport junction; on Erebuni Street in the Erebuni administrative district; on Andranik Street in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district; at the transport junction of Isakov Avenue and Sebastia Street; and on Sasna Tsrer Street and the Yeghvard Highway in the Davtashen administrative district.
In parallel with the pavement works, manholes and storm drains were replaced, and manhole levels were adjusted accordingly.

Employees of the relevant departments continue to conduct inspection visits to construction sites. During these visits, developers are reminded to properly organize and maintain their construction sites.
A number of developers already organize their worksites in compliance with these requirements, including “Anipremium Development”, “Renshin”, “Gyurjyan Gardens”, “Ord Development”, “ML Mining”, “Kam Development” LLC, and “Luyser” CJSC.

“Sahakyan Shin” CJSC has fully restored the main collapsed section of the Tsitsernakaberd Highway. Traffic on both lanes is now fully open, and the entire highway will be back in use once the construction nearby is finished.
