The delegation of Avan ditrict visited Karabakh

Within the frames of the program of cooperation between the administrative districts of the capital and the districts of Karabakh, initiated by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the delegation of Avan district of Yerevan headed by the head of the district Manvel Javadyan once again visited Karabakh. Member of Parliament Robert Sargsyan was in Karabakh together with the delegation.
During the meeting with the Mayor of Stepanakert Suren Grigoryan the parties highly appreciated the friendly relations between Yerevan and Stepanakert and expressed willingness for further cooperation, discussed future programs. The members of Avan district delegation, on behalf of Yerevan Mayor put a wreath at the city memorial of Stepanakert dedicated to the freedom fighters fallen during their homeland defence, put flowers at their graves. The delegation also visited the kindergarten N 4 in Stepanakert, got acquainted with its conditions, handed presents and arranged to expand the cooperation. The guests arrived from Yerevan also watched the performance of the pupils of the kindergarten. Accompanied by the First Deputy Mayor of Stepanakert Suren Tamrazyan Yerevan delegation also visited Martuni district of Karabakh, where together with the head of the administration Karen Tovmasyan they discussed the ways of making the cooperation programs between Avan and Chartar town of Martuni more effective. Then the head of Avan district Manvel Javadyan and the mayor of Chartar town of Martuni, NKR Arthur Aghabekyan signed cooperation agreement program which includes various spheres. Member of Parliament Robert Sargsyan who comes from Chartar took part in the meeting.
After the meeting the members of Yerevan delegation visited the city memorial of Chartar and rendered the memory tribute to the freedom fighters fallen during the homeland defence, put flowers and the memorial and at the graves.
To render the memory tribute to the RA national hero Monte Melkonyan (Avo) the delegation visited his memorial.
