Avan District U14 Football Team Takes 2nd Place in National Stage of School Cup
The final of the national stage of the FFA U14 Football Cup was held. Yerevan participated in the final of the Republican stage for the first time. At the Yerevan stage, the students of School No. 177 of Avan district, who became champions in the U14 group, competed with the students of Vayk Ccity secondary school, of Vayots Dzor marz. The intense and spectacular battle ended with the victory of the Vayk school players with a score of 2-1. Arsen Makvetsyan, head of Yerevan Municipality Sports and Youth Department, handed medals and certificates to the Yerevan team, which took the honorable second place, and Armen Melikbekyan, President of the FFA, handed the cup to the champions.
