Yerevan Council of Elders Makes Decision to Transfer Operation of “Zhong Tong” and “MAN” Buses to “Yerevan Bus” CJSC
At the special meeting of Yerevan Council of Elders, the Council approved of the draft decision on property donation according to which the operation of 150 “Zhong Tong” and 87 “MAN” buses will be transferred to “Yerevan Bus” CJSC. With the operation of the new public transport itinerary network 29 routes will be replenished with new buses and the number of bus itineraries will be increased as well. The purchase of the new buses was financed from the budget of Yerevan, from the loan means allotted by the EBRD and the grant allotted by E5P. The new buses will make it possible to regulate the passenger transportation process in the city, significantly improving the quality of services.
