Plácido Domingo performed for Yerevan residents and guests of Yerevan with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia led by  Eduard Topchyan at Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall.
The world-famous musician has been in Armenia for the second time, he assures that the Armenian audience has a unique energy for him. The famous artist visited Armenia on the event of16th Yerevan International Music Festival.
The artist, who performed on Yerevan stage together with the first prize laureate of the Operalia 2022 International Opera Singers Competition Yuliana Grigoryan, concluded the concert with the national anthem of Yerevan "Erebuni-Yerevan".
Earlier, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan awarded the outstanding representative of opera art Placido Domingo with Yerevan Mayor's Gold Medal.
