After the concert at “Hollywood Bowl”, Los Angeles, the meeting of the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture and Tourism Gosh Sargsyan with the artistic director of the  Los Angeles Philharmonic, world-famous conductor Gustavo Dudamel was held.
The issues related to the concert tour of Maestro Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Symphonic Orchestra of Venezuela to be held in Yerevan next year were discussed.
During the meeting Gosh Sargsyan handed the eminent musician the official invitation of Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan to perform at the international open-air music festival to be held in Yerevan.
“Yerevan Municipality undertakes organization of valuable cultural events to form a new cultural environment in the city, to make Yerevan a participant of the global cultural processes, and the start was given this June in Tumo park with exclusive series of ballet performances dedicated to Aram Khachatryan’s 120th anniversary”, said Gosh Sargsyan.
To give a new impetus to festival culture Yerevan Municipality anticipates holding multi-genre programs and events, to make them accessible for townspeople, guests of the capital and tourists. With this aim the Municipality plans to purchase necessary stage and audio and lighting equipment.
