On the International Day of Children’s Defense, a meeting of Yerevan Council of Elders was held in the City Hall but this time 9th form students acted as members of the council. The meeting was held by Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Armen Pambukhchyan. The event was called “Yerevan Municipality for Kids”. During the event the young “elders” had the opportunity to raise the issues worrying them, to submit their projects and offers.5 issues of the reported 9 ones were confirmed.
The schoolchildren spoke about making the city more convenient and bout the problems disabled children have to face.
Some interesting ideas expressed at the meeting will be included in the decisions of the city authorities.
