234 Hepatitis C Carriers Treated at "Arshakunyats" Health Centre
On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, flowers and a tree were planted in the courtyard of the "Arshakunyats" Health Center in Yerevan. Thanks to the joint efforts of Yerevan Municipality and the International Medical Humanitarian Organization "Doctors Without Borders" ("Medcins Sans Frontieres"), since April 2024, the center has begun treatment of 589 infected patients, 234 of whom have already been fully cured, while the rest are still under observation. .
The purpose of the event, entitled “Patient and Healthcare Worker: Collaboration for Health,” is to unite patients and healthcare workers, thereby showing that only through joint efforts and mutual care can we have a healthy and prosperous society.
