On the event of Teacher’s Day Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed teachers of basic, high, secondary and private schools as well as pre-school establishments of the capital.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan were present at the festive event dedicated to Teacher’s Day in the concert hall after Aram Khachatryan.

Dear teachers,With deep respect and gratitude I congratulate you on you professional holiday-Teacher’s Day which is traditionally marked in our country to express our special respect for the profession.

Within the frames of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” program the social program held under the slogan “Yerevan-city of love” is going on. For the third day running the persons in charge of the Municipality and administrative districts have been visiting families residing in 12 administrative districts of the capital and distributing them presents in the form of household appliances. Today th persons in charge visited 327 families.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the head of programs of the Austrian company “Doppelmayr Seilbahnen” Valery Yashin who is in Yerevan at the behest of the Municipality. The possibilities of implementation of the investment program for the construction of the new rope-way in the capital were discussed during the meeting.

Today is the second day of the social program carried out within the frames of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” festive events. The persons in charge of Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts will visit 310 families residing in 12 administrative districts of the capital and pass them the presents in the form of household appliances.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan presented the new-assigned head of Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district Arthur Stepanyan to the staff of Yerevan Municipality.Attaching particular importance to consistent everyday activity of the staff of the administrative district in dynamic development of urban economy Taron Margaryan noted that expects devoted and conscientious work from each employee of the district.
