On the night of January 30, a lawn of nearly 200 m with its surrounding kerbs located at 108/10 Andranik street in Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, was illegally dismantled and asphalted. The case was reported to the Malatia division of RA Police. In association with the staff of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district and with the structural subdivisions of Yerevan Municipality, the violator was revealed. The employees of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control of Yerevan Municipality conducted explanations with the citizen and the latter made the commitment to restore the former look of the green lawn at his own costs. Besides, in accordance with Paragraph 157 of the RA Law, the violator will be imposed administrative responsibility for destroying public green areas and breaking the rules of preservation public green areas of Yerevan. The process of restoration has already started.
