Ongoing Replacement of Non-Viable Trees with High-Quality Species
31.03.2026
Along the Paronyan–Proshyan streets in the city, Japanese sophora trees are being planted to replace non-viable elm trees. To date, 53 trees have been planted in this section alone. These ornamental trees, distinguished by their broad canopies, are both cold-resistant and heat-tolerant; they provide dense shade while significantly enhancing the urban landscape.
