23 municipal kindergartens were provided with furniture and equipment, 40 kindergartens - with sports equipment.
 Yerevan Municipality, together with the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, implemented a robotics program in 10 Yerevan kindergartens.
The pilot program has proven its effectiveness and will be implemented in all local kindergartens.
This year, the number of nursery groups and kindergartens providing extended day services has increased.
In order to increase the availability of preschool education, preschool institutions were opened in 9 basic schools in Yerevan in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Sport and Culture and the World Bank.
The process of installing video surveillance systems in kindergartens has already begun and is ongoing, which will ensure an even safer environment.
About 420 high school students of municipal schools took part in the applied military science program implemented in the school sphere, and more than 1000 students visited the historical, cultural and architectural sites of Yerevan within the framework of the "Yerevan Tours" program.
