New standards for organizing construction sites established by the decision of the Council of Elders
During a meeting held at Yerevan Municipality with representatives of administrative districts and structures operating in the vital infrastructure sector, mandatory standards for demolition and reconstruction carried out with a construction permit were discussed.
“Notice boards informing about the construction activity must be placed in visible places throughout the entire territory of the building site. Temporary fences made of metal bars at least 1.5 m high, with reflective coating and lighting devices must be installed along the entire perimeter of the construction site. From now on, bitumen-polymer mastic must be laid along the entire perimeter of the asphalt cut,” said the head of Communal Service Department of Yerevan Municipality.
Arsen Karoyan also emphasized that in all cases it is necessary to follow the established standards in order to avoid administrative penalties and suspension of work.
