Annual “Yerevan Marathon” run took place
The traditional annual run “Yerevan Marathon” took place on April 28. The sport event is held jointly by “Arm Marathon” sport and educational foundation and Yerevan Municipality. The First Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan was present at the race. The First Deputy Mayor made a greeting speech with which he wished luck to the participants.
The marathon started and finished at Shahumyan square. The runners covered distances of 42 km, 21 km, 11,5 km, 5 km and 1 km (kids’ run).
The event brought together approximately 2000 participants. Those who were able to cover the whole distance got medals.
